3. The calculations are always run with normalized analysis values. Take a look at the link "Log the calculation" to se how the properties vary with some typical analysis from different parts of the world(Comment applies for test account). 4. The intention of this tool is not replace third party surveyors but rather increase your personal or your companys ability to do evaluations in gas quality and be better prepared in negotiations and transactions.

5. The ISO 12213 calculation does not include nHexane, Oxygen or CO2. nHexan is added to nPentane. No differentiation is made between i- and nPenthane.

6. The methanenumber calculation is timeconsuming when the methane contents is low.

7. It is possible to use both "." or "," as decimal separator.

8. The included value transfer calculation is made according to "good practice" in the LNG business (LNG CUSTODY TRANSFER HANDBOOK) .

9. What are the limitations of these calculations ? The answer is: Many ! However it gives good accuracy for "normal" natural gas and LNG. If you want to be sure please look at the standards.
